Birthday-N-Anniversary Celebration

I told my husband that I'd like to go dutch with some friends of ours and so he made contact with them and meet them @ Sweet Tomatoes for lunch, since @ the time, I didn't have their email address. Apparently almost a year had gone by, and it only seemed like 6 months. We all just got so busy with our own lives, that time flew by so fast. Life is like that sometimes, hard enough getting together with family, who live farther away, let alone getting together with people who only life about 85 miles away (one way). After lunch I took their pictures, outside the restaurant and then they invited us to hang out @ their home and chat. We all talked and I took a bunch of pictures of them and their dogs and this is just layout, was one way of applying most of the pictures to the scrap page. We celebrated my Birthday last Saturday and today is my actual birthday, yes: I'm another year older and soon (within 7 days from now): my husband will be another day older. We also got married 14 years ago, on both our Birthdays, 7 days apart. We got married on My Birthday 3-28-97 @ and P.M., in Rough-N-Ready, California (the day was Rough and we were Ready) and got married on Shawn's Birthday in Chester, Vermont on 4-4-97 @ 7 A.M. As we believe it to be a blessing from the Lord. For those who do not know me very well: I'm the blond in the picture & my husband is standing next to me & our dog is a white, Schnauzer, & is part Westy & acts like a Whipit & is all Mut.

I grew up in area's where is usually snowed. If it wasn't Raining on my Birthday, it was usually snowing. Never good weather. Well, my husband & I live were we are lucky to get one inch of snow, & then it melts. Though rain is good & we get it, we usually get it during another time, those in Arizona know it by what is called the Monsoon season. It is a season in the summer where we get lots of rain, & sometimes it floods the roads & we have to stay overnight somewhere, 'cause the roads are flooded out. People are not allowed to pass through the flooded roads, 'cause then it costs money & the police can give you a ticket, it can also be risky business trying to get through/pass through those flooded roads. It is a time when we get most of our rain.
